Shortly after high school, Tom Granath established and operated his premiere painting company for twelve years, offering a variety of decorative finishing services.

During that time, he developed a passion for the creative and artistic aspects of the business. Bringing daring notions to life for discerning decorators and designers were exciting challenges that Tom excelled at.

While building his painting business, Tom simultaneously earned a degree in business. In 1996, with diploma in hand, Tom decided to enter the corporate world. He enjoyed a successful career in procurement within highly regarded organizations including Disney and General Electric. Tom's climb culminated with holding the position of Chief Procurement Officer for a national service company.

With great anticipation and excitement, Tom returned to the decorating realm and founded Granath Color Works. His passion for restoring classic decors and creating memorable spaces shines through in every project.
